Your own remittance app: send USDC to a family pot where school fees and rent go straight to the payee, and everyone sees it in local money.
Try it live, freeYour USDC is locked in a smart contract, not sent to us. The contract lets us collect it only if we deliver within 14 days of your payment (by 15 Nov 2026 if you pay today). After that date, if we have not collected it, you take it back yourself from My apps, no permission needed. Before it, only we can refund: if we miss the promised date, ask in My apps and we refund you from the contract. View the contract on BaseScan. This covers every payment, a reservation too: the funds are released to us only when we deliver.
Promised delivery: 4 Nov 2026 (counted from payment). Self-refund opens: 15 Nov 2026 (the contract deadline).
Add-ons are not part of this payment. Once your app is delivered you can request them from My apps, and you only pay if you say yes to the quote.
Kwame Asante, a care worker in Manchester, sends money home to Kumasi every month, and in September his nieces were sent home because the fees were late. With Family Float he tops up one family pot in USDC with categories for school, rent, food and health: term fees go straight to the school's bank account, rent to the landlord's confirmed mobile money, and his mum sees every balance in cedis. A changed payee number is held until it is confirmed, so the landlord scam text goes nowhere.
The user app: family pot with school, rent, food and health categories, monthly split builder and top ups, direct payees with a hold and sender approval for changes, bill flows paying schools and landlords, local currency view per member, money requests from family, cash-out partner list with fees, ledger with receipts, plans and simulated checkout.
Reshape it entirely: new features, your flows, your brand end to end, integrations you need. We scope it with you.
Stablecoin remittance apps into Africa exist and some mention school fees. What is new is the shape: a family pot split into categories where each bill pays the payee directly through a licensed off-ramp, a local currency view for every family member, changed payee numbers held until confirmed, and cash-out partners listed with their real fees and limits, all as an app the owner runs for their own community.
SFx Money App (Circle case study, school fees and family support in USDC), RemitaPay (hackathon project paying Nigerian school fees in USDC), Stablepay and Sasai for stablecoin bill pay and remittance; most pay out to the family member rather than to a categorized pot of verified payees.

One live race fits this app. Each one says why, with its prize and countdown. The rule on existing code is on the race page.
See every race on the boardYour own remittance app for a diaspora community: senders fill a family pot in USDC, bills pay schools and landlords directly, family see balances in local money, and your console runs plans, safety rules, growth and the payout log.

Families pay you a small monthly plan for direct payees, local money views for everyone and shared senders. The pot is free. You never add a margin to the rate and never hold a family's money; partner fees are shown as they are.

People abroad send money home every month and lose up to 8% to fees. Once cash lands it goes to whatever is loudest that week, school fees are paid late, and scammers text family members pretending a landlord changed his number.
Partly exists. Stablecoin remittance apps such as SFx Money, Stablepay and Sasai move USDC into African currencies, and RemitaPay showed school fees paid in USDC. Family Float adds a categorized family pot where bills pay the school or landlord directly, a local currency view for every member, held and confirmed payee changes, and honest partner fees, as an app an owner runs for their own diaspora community. Research verdict: partly exists, medium novelty.

Money sent home should do the job it was sent for, and the family should see it in their own money.
The bursar's receipt School fees go to the school's account and a receipt comes back that the whole family can see.
Mum's view Every category in cedis, naira or shillings, on Mum's own phone, without asking.
The scam stopper A changed payee number waits until the old number confirms or a family member says it is fake.

Hometown associations and churches abroad are the channel: one member shows the bursar's receipt at a meeting and the group shares the link once, with permission. Schools that receive fees directly tell other parents. No mass messages or bought lists.

Millions of people send money home every month, pay too much for it, and then watch it go somewhere other than the school fees. Owning Family Float means your community gets a pot where bills pay the school and landlord directly and Mum sees it in her own money. Start with your own family or one hometown association, and the bursar's receipt does the selling.
Family Float never converts money itself. Conversion and payouts run through licensed partners in each country, and users keep their own wallets. Rules still differ by country, so take local advice before you launch a corridor. This is not legal advice.
It will happen. The app shows partner status openly, offers the next partner, and returns bounced USDC to the pot. The demo's payout log shows exactly that, including a bank name mismatch.
They move money to a person. Your edge is the pot: categories, direct payees, Mum's view and the scam stopper, sold through communities that trust you. Plans start at a few dollars, so the bar to try is low.
Mum can ask for money and the sender approves in one tap. Categories are the sender's plan, not a lock, and food money can move when life happens.
Small monthly plans per family, a higher tier for sibling groups, and later association pots and school partnerships.
